BALTIMORE, March 23, 2009 -- Warschawski, a full service public relations, marketing and advertising agency, announced today it has been tapped by W.L. Gore & Associates (maker of the GORE-TEX® brand) and New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. to execute a cooperative national marketing program to build excitement for and drive sales of the New Balance 1520 multi-sport shoe with GORE-TEX® fabric technology. For the launch of the shoe, Warschawski will execute a multi-faceted retail campaign titled, "One Shoe... Unlimited Adventures," which will include several creative design elements focused on promoting the brands' partnership, the features and benefits of the new shoe and participation in contests and in-store events.

Through its ongoing relationship with the GORE-TEX® brand, Warschawski will provide marketing communications and branding support for the launch of the New Balance 1520 shoe with GORE-TEX® fabric technology. Warschawski will create and execute contest elements for consumers and retails sales associates at seven retailers with 12 doors combined. Additionally, Warschawski is responsible for developing national print and online advertisements, a co-branded website (http://www.newbalancegore-tex.com ), and point of purchase (POP) materials.
