CAPITAL FUNDING BANCORP ENGAGES WARSCHAWSKI

BALTIMORE, April 21, 2009 – Warschawski, a full service branding, public relations, marketing and advertising agency, announced today it has been selected by Capital Funding Bancorp, Inc. to develop and execute strategic internal and external communications programs surrounding the company’s acquisition of AmericasBank, a Maryland-chartered commercial bank with three branches.  Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. 

Capital Funding Bancorp is a newly-created affiliate of Baltimore-based Capital Funding Group, a recognized national leader in commercial mortgage lending for the health care sector.  Warschawski has been providing advertising services for Capital Funding Group since 2006.  When the Capital Funding family of companies, owned and operated by Jack Dwyer, expanded to include Capital Funding Bancorp, the client tapped Warschawski to provide strategic counsel as well as internal and external communications and media relations services for every phase of the deal to acquire AmericasBank.

As the acquisition moves toward closure, expected in the second quarter of this year, Warschawski will also manage website development, logo creation, naming, and creative design of business materials for the bank and its parent company.
