WARSCHAWSKI NAMED FINALIST FOR NATIONAL "SMALL FIRM OF THE YEAR" BY PR NEWS

-- Fourth Consecutive Year Baltimore Agency is Among Top Firms Nationally --

BALTIMORE, August 11, 2009 -- Warschawski, a full-service public relations, marketing and advertising agency, announced today that it has been selected as a national finalist for "Small Firm of the Year" by PR News’ Platinum PR Awards 2009 program.  Warschawski was recognized for its strong client growth, the integrated marketing campaigns the agency executed this year on behalf of its clients, and the company’s outstanding workplace culture.  This marks the fourth consecutive year that Warschawski is ranked among top small marcom agencies on a national level.  Earlier this year, Warschawski was named one of the 20 “Best Agencies to Work For” by the Holmes Report for the ninth consecutive year.

Warschawski was selected as this year’s finalist from an esteemed group of six communications agencies from across the country that excel in their markets, including Adfero Group (Washington, D.C.), Alpaytac Inc. (Chicago), LEWIS PR (NY, Boston, LA, San Francisco, San Diego, San Jose, Seattle and Washington D.C.), Linhart (Denver), Merritt Group (DC/VA metro & San Francisco), and Singer (DC/VA metro). The companies selected as finalists for the “Small Firm of the Year” were judged by a blue chip panel of corporate, agency and academic executives, as well as by the staff of PR News, which examined nearly 800 entries for the awards.
