WARSCHAWSKI SIGNS THREE NEW ACCOUNTS

BALTIMORE, January 12, 2010 -- Warschawski, a full service branding, public relations, marketing and advertising agency, announced today the addition of three new accounts. Warschawski has been named the agency of record for Avon Protection Systems, Shifman Mattress and Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC). Terms of the agreements were not disclosed.
Avon Protection Systems, Inc. is a division of Avon Rubber p.l.c. (AVON.L), which is a publicly traded company headquartered in the UK. Avon Protection Systems is a leading developer and manufacturer of respiratory protection products against chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) threats for users in the military, law enforcement, first responder and emergency services. Avon has been supplying respirators to the UK Ministry of Defense and other NATO allies for more than 80 years and is the sole provider of military respirators to the U.S. armed forces. Warschawski will develop and execute ongoing strategic communications campaigns that will target Avon Protection Systems’ key audiences in the U.S.
Shifman Mattress, headquartered in Newark, NJ, is a leading manufacturer of handmade mattresses and boxsprings for more than 115 years. Shifman mattresses, which are nationally recognized for their outstanding quality and commitment to the finest handmade production and manufacturing processes, are distributed exclusively to fine furniture and department stores nationally, including Bloomingdale’s. For Shifman Mattress, Warschawski will work to build awareness for the company through brand-centric communications campaigns.
Warschawski will lead strategic brand-building work for Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC), an independent, nonprofit, applied scientific research and development professional services organization providing innovative management and technology-based solutions to the government and the private sector. CTC operates from more than 50 locations and works with government agencies including the U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, FBI, and NASA; and non-government clients including Goodrich Corporation and the University of Pittsburgh. CTC has more than 1,400 employees nationwide and was awarded new contracts worth a total gross value of $368 million in Fiscal Year 2009.
