WARSCHAWSKI TO LAUNCH WILDLY POPULAR BRITISH TREETOP ADVENTURE IN THE U.S.

BALTIMORE, March 9, 2010 -- Warschawski, a full service branding, marketing, public relations, advertising and interactive agency, announced today that it has been retained as the U.S. agency of record by Go Ape, a wildly popular treetop adventure company. As Go Ape's agency of record, Warschawski will create integrated marketing communications campaigns to launch the new eco-experience in the U.S. and build awareness and excitement among its core target audiences. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Since its launch in the UK eight years ago, nearly 2 million people have monkeyed around in the trees of Go Ape courses. Last year alone, one percent of the entire population in the UK tapped into their adventurous spirit and went swinging through the trees at one of the 26 Go Ape courses throughout the country. Approximately eighty percent of all new Go Ape visitors come as a result of personal referrals from someone who has experienced a Go Ape course, underscoring the fact that the Go Ape experience leaves a lasting impression on its tribe.
Go Ape is a highly interactive treetop adventure where participants are equipped with harnesses, pulleys and carabineers and receive a 30-minute training session before they are turned loose into the forest canopy. Spanning a length of more than seven football fields and with obstacles 40 feet above the ground, the course features a series of ziplines, Tarzan swings, rope ladders, bridges, swings, and trapezes. In May 2010, Go Ape will open its first U.S. course in the Baltimore-Washington area among the treetops of Rock Creek Regional Park, located in Rockville, MD.
