As Director and General Counsel, Sarah Sawyer oversees client strategy, day-to-day activities, new business development and in-house legal matters.

Before joining Warschawski, Sarah worked as a business attorney for Offit Kurman, Attorneys At Law. As an experienced business advisor, Sarah worked with clients to come up with solutions to their greatest questions and concerns and helped them implement better policies and practices. Sarah also handled business development and marketing of the firm to key stakeholders. She also served as an Assistant State’s Attorney where she tried cases ranging from driving under the influence to attempted murder. Prior to becoming an attorney, Sarah enjoyed a career in local politics in which she worked with State Senator Bobby Zirkin, State Delegate Dan Morhaim, and was an aide and campaign manager to Councilwoman Vicki Almond.

Sarah’s diverse background and passion for client success and growth allow her to bring a unique perspective to client campaigns.

Sarah earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Stevenson University and her J.D. from the University of Baltimore. She currently lives in Hampden, Baltimore with her husband and two cats.

When not working to help clients succeed and grow, Sarah enjoys dining out at some of Baltimore’s best restaurants, hiking and supporting local non-profits through volunteering and board membership.
