BALTIMORE – February 25, 2014 – David Warschawski, CEO and founder of Warschawski, a full service branding, PR, marketing, advertising and interactive agency, has been selected to present at the Strategic Corporate Communication Leadership Summit, taking place on April 10 and 11. The summit is hosted by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and will bring together communications professionals to learn about the latest corporate communications strategies, techniques and measurement tools. David’s presentation, entitled Getting Social Media Right in a VUCA World, will take place on Friday, April 11 from 3:15 p.m. to 4 p.m. in The Marvin Center on the campus of George Washington University.

David’s presentation will teach professionals how to ensure their companies are well positioned in the unpredictable digital and social media world. Using the acronym VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity) to describe this environment, David will show professionals the mistakes to avoid, and how to successfully utilize social and digital media as a part of their company’s communications mix. The presentation will include case studies of leading brands.

“The current business climate has changed considerably in the last five years. This means that marketers need to change with the times, and learn to do business in an ongoing state of VUCA,” commented David Warschawski, CEO and founder of Warschawski. “My presentation will focus on helping communications pros better understand how to use social and digital media in a way that strategically integrates with their overall brand and marketing strategy so they can create the best possible business results in a VUCA world.”
