Warschawski Acquires Boston Communications Agency "Louder than Words" (LTW)

BALTIMORE – October 25, 2010 – Warschawski, a full service branding, marketing, public relations, advertising and interactive agency, announced today that it will acquire the Boston-based marketing communications agency LOUDER THAN WORDS (LTW) effective November 1, 2010. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As a result of the deal, Warschawski welcomes back LTW president, Rich Polt, who served as VP of Warschawski in the late 1990s. Rich will relocate from Boston to Baltimore and join Warschawski’s Baltimore office as a Senior Vice President. Tricia McKenna, vice president of LTW, will remain in Boston to lead Warschawski’s New England office. Tricia will continue to oversee and manage LTW accounts and ensure a successful transition for all clients to Warschawski.

In 2003, Rich launched LOUDER THAN WORDS, combining his professional expertise with his desire to give back to the world. Prior to founding LOUDER THAN WORDS, Rich worked with Boston-based Schwartz Communications, the nation’s second largest independent PR agency focused on high-tech and medical technology companies. From 1997 to 2000, Rich was Vice President of Warschawski, where he worked with major brands such as Adidas and STX. In 2005, Rich was named one of Ten Outstanding Young Leaders by Boston’s Junior Chamber of Commerce. He holds an undergraduate degree from Bucknell University.

Tricia McKenna, vice president at LOUDER THAN WORDS, will retain her title at Warschawski, where she will manage client accounts and oversee Warschawski’s office in New England. Tricia has more than ten years of experience creating strategic communications programs that influence audiences, inspire action, and advance causes. At LTW, Tricia managed many of the agency’s marquee accounts and oversaw its pro bono program, “Press for Action.” Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Account Executive at Corporate Ink Public Relations. Tricia began her career at Project Bread / The Walk for Hunger, fueling contributions for Massachusetts’ largest single-day fundraiser to alleviate hunger. Today, she volunteers with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Massachusetts affiliate. Tricia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Boston College.
