BALTIMORE – January 17, 2011 – Warschawski, a full service branding, marketing, public relations, advertising and interactive agency, announced today that it has been selected to create the brand for a revolutionary indoor cycling experience that combines cardio, strength training and yoga in a concise 45-minute class. Now that Warschawski has created the new brand, Velovoom, Warschawski will launch the company’s first studio in Bethesda, MD later this month through an integrated marketing communications program.
Warschawski led the entire branding process leading up to the launch of Velovoom, which included name ideation and creation, logo development, name and logo trademarking, collateral materials and signage creation, as well as interactive website design and build with a robust back-end system. The site (www.velovoom.com) includes a customized online registration system to make it easy for participants to sign up for classes and reserve a bike in advance. The user interface is similar to how people reserve an airplane seat online where visitors can see the floor plan and the available bikes in the class. Warschawski is also spearheading the public launch of Velovoom, set to take place later this month. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
“Velovoom offers people a truly transformative experience that goes beyond the typical group exercise class. We needed an agency partner that could help us effectively communicate our brand vision and generate awareness for this life-changing workout,” commented Marc Caputo, co-founder of Velovoom. “Warschawski’s expertise in building powerful brands coupled with their approach to developing integrated marketing communications made them an ideal partner for us. We are thrilled with the results Warschawski has generated – plus, it was a huge benefit to work with one agency that could handle all of our marketing communications needs under one roof.”
Velovoom takes the individual exercises of indoor cycling, weight training and yoga out of the gym and combines them into a boutique studio setting. Boutique indoor cycling studios are gaining popularity in trend setting cities across the nation, including: New York City, Los Angeles and Miami. Velovoom’s Bethesda location is the first studio of its kind in the D.C. Metro area. Each Velovoom class is designed to allow participants to clear their minds, release personal toxins and recharge their body and spirit.
“Warschawski is thrilled to partner with Velovoom and help launch its first studio – bringing a unique workout experience to the region,” commented Shana Harris, Senior Vice President of Warschawski. “Many of our team members are fitness enthusiasts. Having the opportunity to develop the Velovoom brand from the beginning and taking it all the way through to its launch makes this an exciting opportunity for us on many levels. We look forward to continue helping Velovoom grow its brand and expand its footprint in the Maryland / D.C. region.”
