WARSCHAWSKI SELECTED BY YELLOW RIBBON FUND TO DESIGN MARATHON TEAM LOGO

– October 22, 2012 – Warschawski, a full service public relations, marketing, branding, advertising and interactive agency, announced today that it was selected by the Yellow Ribbon Fund to design the team logo for its Marine Corps Marathon team.  Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

This is the second consecutive year that Warschawski has designed the team logo. The Yellow Ribbon Fund (http://yellowribbonfund.com/), headquartered in Bethesda, MD, assists injured service members and their families while they recover at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir.

The logo Warschawski created will be featured on the front of the Yellow Ribbon Fund team race shirts. The 37th annual Marine Corps Marathon will take place in Washington, D.C., on October 28, 2012. Last year’s marathon team fundraised more than $19,000 to support the charity’s programs, which include morale-boosting events and outings for wounded warriors and their families, free transportation and hotel stays, and mentoring programs.

It is important to us that we are active members in our community and assist with meaningful causes,” commented David Warschawski. “We are so thankful for the sacrifices made by the men and women who bravely serve in our armed forces and this is a terrific way to honor and support them as well as generate more awareness for this terrific organization.”

Warschawski’s charitable efforts will continue this year with the launch of the “Design with Purpose” campaign where non-profits in the Baltimore/Washington area who are in need of a website makeover can apply to win Warschawski’s design services. The campaign will be promoted via Warschawski’s social media pages and new website, and will launch in the coming months.
