Warschawski Tapped by Yellow Ribbon Fund to Create Marathon Team Logo

BALTIMORE – October 26, 2011 – Warschawski, a full service branding, public relations, marketing and advertising agency, announced today that it was tapped by the Yellow Ribbon Fund to create the team logo for its Marine Corps Marathon team.  Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Warschawski designed the logo to express the mission of the Yellow Ribbon Fund (www.yellowribbonfund.org/), a charitable organization based in Bethesda, MD, that assists injured service members and their families while they recover at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and Fort Belvoir.

The marathon logo will be featured on the front of the team race shirts, which will be worn by more than 25 runners in the 36th annual Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., on October 30, 2011.  In just the past two years, the Yellow Ribbon Fund marathon team has raised more than $36,000 to support the charity’s programs, which include morale-boosting events and outings for wounded warriors and their families, free transportation and hotel stays, and mentoring programs.
