Crisis communications is always a “hot topic,” as a poorly-managed situation can cause significant damage to any organization’s brand reputation. Having a plan in place is something that senior leadership often talks about doing, but does not always make it a priority. With the growth of social media channels and the real-time access to information, the public is always watching and organizations are expected to respond immediately to any situation. Ask yourself – do you have a plan or know what you would do if caught in a crisis storm?

This webinar will provide an overview on how to identify a crisis, the different stages of a crisis, how to best prepare for a crisis, how to create a crisis plan, what to do when you have a full-blown crisis (complete with some real-world examples), and how to use a crisis situation as a way to strengthen your brand.

Participants will walk away with an understanding of how to:

  • Identify a crisis situation and determine what level of crisis it is
  • Create a strong offense to best protect you in a crisis situation
  • Create a response plan that will help address any crisis situation
  • Quickly respond to a crisis situation using all of the marketing tactics and communication channels
  • Use a crisis situation to create a positive brand experience
