Junior Digital Strategist

We are looking for an enthusiastic, eager-to-learn Junior Digital Strategist to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about digital marketing and ready to build hands-on experience across paid search (SEM/PPC), programmatic display/video, paid social, email marketing, and/or SEO. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a “can-do” attitude are essential for success in this role.

In this position, you will support the development and execution of SEM, SEO, and other digital marketing strategies for our agency’s clients. You’ll gain experience across the full campaign lifecycle — from data analysis and conceptualization to creation, implementation, monitoring, and reporting — while working closely with senior team members.

 

Candidate Skills & Requirements

  • 0-2 years experience
  • Strong analytical and communication skills — ability to understand marketing challenges and clearly communicate ideas and solutions
  • Eagerness to learn and assist with SEO, paid search, and/or social media plans, as well as other digital marketing campaigns
  • Basic familiarity with or exposure to PPC platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Advertising, Instagram Advertising, Pinterest Ads, and/or Twitter Ads
  • Some experience or coursework involving Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar reporting tools is a plus
  • Familiarity with SEM/SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or SpyFu is a plus but not required
  • Ability to conduct competitive and industry research to help identify digital marketing opportunities
  • General awareness of existing and emerging social platforms, including video advertising
  • Willingness to assist in developing, coordinating, producing, editing, proofing, and delivering digital content and marketing materials
  • Ability to help track success metrics and support campaign analysis to measure performance

Nice to Have

  • Any experience with an open-source CMS (WordPress)
  • Exposure to email marketing platforms (Constant Contact, Listrak, Marketo, HubSpot, or MailChimp)
  • Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Advertising, and/or Adobe Analytics certifications are a major plus
  • HubSpot or Marketo Certification
  • Relevant coursework, internships, or freelance digital marketing experience welcome
